Our 2023 Orchid Dragon Shiraz has been awarded Best in Show at the 2026 Decanter World Wine Awards, becoming the first wine from Western Australia's Great Southern region to ever receive this prestigious accolade.
Selected from almost 17,000 wines entered from 58 countries, the 2023 Orchid Dragon Shiraz was one of just 50 wines worldwide to receive the coveted Best in Show award, placing it in the top 0.3% of all wines judged.
This international recognition is a defining moment not only for Ferngrove but also for the Great Southern, further cementing the region's reputation for producing world-class wines.
Also recognised at the awards was the 2025 The Stirlings Mount Hassell Riesling, which received a Gold Medal and 95 points, placing it among the top 5% of wines judged.
