The Winefront -

Wine Review:  The wine was first made in this style in 2010 as a trial run. It did well. This 2016 version is sourced from three different blocks and a whole lot more is made now. Pretty to drink. Smells like candy cane, floral things, rose petals. The palate is juicy and friendly, bright, finishes crisp with cool sweetness. Almost muscat grape vibe here. You can see a million people like this. Nicely done in style.

Wine Review:  This is a deliciously different Aussie Riesling from the Frankland River Region in Western Australia. Most Rieslings made in this country are bone dry with little or no residual sugar. Here we have one more akin to its ancestral Teutonic roots. Boy did the judges love it in the International Riesling Challenge 2016. It beat 500 other wines to take the premier position. If you want to try a Riesling with some serious lime and citrus flavours backed up by just the right amount of residual sweetness, not to mention some truly lovely cumquat elements, give this a try.
