Board of Directors

Peter Mansell (Chairman)
Peter is a commercial lawyer with 40 years experience.  He is currently Chairman Electricity Networks Corporation Ltd (Western Power) and a Director of ThinkSmart Ltd and Bunnings Property Management Ltd. He is the past president of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (WA Division) and a past member of the national board of that organisation.

Murray Burton (Executive director)
Murray is the founder of Ferngrove.  He is also one of six partners in Perth accountancy firm Galluccio Griggs. Murray is also a qualified Commercial Pilot. His Board positions include land development companies with properties in and around Perth.

Ian Gibson (Non-executive director)
Ian operates a successful accounting firm based in Perth as well as his own vineyard in the Swan Valley and markets under the Platypus Lane wine label.. Ian brings a wealth of experience in business and wine to the board.

Anthony Wilkes (Managing Director)
Anthony commenced his career with the Holmes a Court family company- Heytesbury Holdings Pty Ltd initially in the Pastoral/Beef Cattle operations then the parent company Heytesbury, where he was instrumental in the development of the successful Vasse Felix Vineyard project in 1997.  Over the next 6 years Anthony managed the development of the large Great Southern vineyard development (285ha) and construction of a 4 000 tonne Margaret River winery. Anthony has a depth of experience in corporate administration, capital raising, marketing, compliance, prospectus development, business planning, forecasting and strategy development. Anthony joined Ferngrove as Chief Executive Officer in October 2004 and has been leading the team, taking Ferngrove to the top echelon of quality premium wine producers in Australia and building a solid financial platform to grow from. In October 2008, Anthony was appointed Managing Director and was recognised by the WA Business News in 2007 winning a 40 under 40 award and also one of fifteen invite only participants on the National Wine Industry's "Future Leaders Course".

John Ratcliffe (Non-executive Director)
John has had extensive experience in senior management roles in the international wine and spirit industry for over 25 years. His business appointments have included Deputy Managing Director of Oddbins Ltd and Managing Director of Seagram UK Ltd, a distributor of wine and spirits in the UK.
John currently acts as an industry advisor and provides consultancy servcies to a range of financial institutions and international beverage and alcohol companies. He also sits on the Board of two UK distribution companies, being E I Wines Ltd and Liberty Wines (UK) Ltd.
